The gates open at 11:00 AM and event curfew is 9:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025

Use the Rainbow Gate entrance at the far corner of the main parking lot.

Children 12 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult.

Hudson River Music Festival is single-entry only! Each ticket will be valid for a single-use entry scan – all exits are final!

Yes – beer and wine are for sale at the Festival for 21+ attendees with a valid, government-issued, photo ID

We have many food and beverage vendors at the Festival. These vendors can be found in the Food Court. There are also some light snack vendors scattered throughout the Festival.

We have a great selection of craft vendors to shop with, as well as activist areas to educate yourself / get involved with a cause at, throughout the festival site!

Yes – locate any festival personnel in an event crew member T-shirt, and they will be happy to assist you! They will get someone from the Access Committee to help you if accessibility assistance is needed.
VENUE

VENUE PERMITTED ITEMS:
Patrons will be allowed to bring up to a 1 gallon water container (Nalgene or Camelbak type bottles are acceptable) – completely empty - no outside food and beverage will be permitted into the festival, however water fill stations and beverages for sale will be available throughout the site
Empty water bottles, including reusable and disposable water bottles
Empty CamelBak-style water bladder systems
Backpacks/purses are also allowed, but will be subject to search
ALL BAGS MUST BE 12”x6”x12” or smaller to be permitted for entry
Personal Identification & medical documentation, in case of emergency
Cash (there are no ATM’s on the festival grounds)
Rain gear
Clothing with a hood
Extra pair of shoes/sneakers
Mud Boots (in case it rains)
Bug Spray without Deet
Small, foldable lawn chairs
Blanket for seating
Sunscreen
A hat for shade
A bandanna
Sunglasses
Small, personal-sized umbrellas or parasols
Biodegradable plastic bags for trash, compost, and recyclable materials

Non-professional cameras, without flash or removable lens
Vehicle Key Code (This will cut down on the time it takes for the locksmith to duplicate your key if you lose it.)
Lighters
Smokers, bring an ashtray! Every cigarette butt you throw on the ground, we have to pick up!!!!
Guide dogs for people with disabilities and other service animals with current rabies certification
VENUE PROHIBITED ITEMS:Reminder: Coolers and ANY OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE are not permitted in the event site
Glass containers of any kind
Professional cameras with detachable lenses, video cameras (Small handheld cameras without additional lenses are fine)
No bags larger than 12”x6”x12”
No pop-ups, large shade structures, or large umbrellas
Drones, remote-operated, and/or autonomous vehicles of any kind
No kite flying
No bicycles or scooters or personal motorized vehicles will be permitted into the festival grounds. (This includes, but is not limited to: golf carts, ATV’s motor scooters, and powered skateboards)
No arriving by boat
Focus light beam devices, including laser pointers
No pets of any kind (except service animals with current rabies vaccination)
Any item that can be used as a weapon
No illegal substances, or paraphernalia of any kind
No vending
Flyers, stickers, and posters
Tiki torches, fireworks, fuel, or incendiary devices of any kind
Any item that can be used as a means to disturb the peace, endanger the safety of the crowd, and/or inflict damage to people and goods
No glow sticks, confetti, balloons, silly string, or other items that can pollute the park and/or environment

No – there are no ATMs at the Festival. Most vendors accept credit card payments however cash is required for vehicle day parking, and with some craft vendors.

Yes: To improve the experience for all Festival-goers, please respect the following seating policy:
Small foldable lawn-chairs only
Do not leave chairs unattended - the festival is not responsible for unattended items, and any unattended items left in the showfield may be removed by festival security or working personnel for safety or security reasons if left unattended

Day Parking Passes will be sold for $20 CASH per vehicle upon entry
VIP Packages include (1) VIP Parking Pass per order, with guaranteed access to parking in close proximity to the festival gates. VIP Parking Passes will be issued to the purchaser, or contact email associated with the order, at least one (1) day prior to the event date

No – there is no public WiFi available at the Festival.

There are port-o-johns throughout the Festival, and flushable comfort stations for VIP ticket-holders through the VIP Lounge tent.

No – there is no swimming at the Festival and there are no lifeguards on duty.

Transportation

Arriving at the festival is easy with multiple transportation options available at the Croton-on-Hudson train station.
By Train:
Metro-North Railroad: Hop on the MTA Hudson Line to Croton-on-Hudson train station. Both local and express trains are available. Pro tip: Download the MTA app for easy ticket purchasing!
Amtrak: Take Amtrak straight to the Croton-on-Hudson train station. It’s a convenient and scenic way to arrive.

Free Festival / Train Station Shuttle: Enjoy our looping bus service for a quick and easy ride to/from the festival & Croton-Harmon Train Station.
Walking Option: It’s about a 1.25-mile walk from the train station to the festival entrance.

Event Day Parking: Plenty of on-site parking is available for $20 CASH upon arrival.
Bike Parking: Ride your bike to the festival! We have bike parking conveniently located at the entrance. Don’t forget to bring your own bike lock.

Overnight parking / camping are not available for the single-day event. Day parking on-site will be available based on availability for $20 cash upon entry to the day parking lot. Vehicles in the Park’s day parking lot are not permitted to remain parked overnight. Any vehicles left in the day parking lot after the event is over, will be subject to tow.

No – boat arrival / parking will not be available on the event site for festival attendees.

Yes – there is a bike parking area just outside the main festival entrance. The festival is not responsible for the ownership or safety of any bikes parked on the site.

Yes –Audience is encouraged to participate at our Circle of Song tent. Please do not play your instrument in crowded areas and please respect the performers on the stages and do not play next to the stage areas. There is no busking allowed so please do not open your instrument case for tips. Please do not leave your instrument unattended, and remember that owners are responsible for their personal belongings, including instruments, at all times.

There will not be printed programs, however all of the most up-to-date event information, including site map & event programming schedule, will be available on the Hudson River Music Festival website, as well as on-site at the information booth - directly through the Rainbow Gate event entrance once you enter the event site.
